Years after I started playing bass, I watched and admired the video of Woodstock. Jimi Hendrix with a right-handed Strat played left-handed. Did have the strings for a lefty in the right place. That upside-down headstock impressed me immediately and has never let me go. Gifted luthier Patrick Koopman specializes in building Fender-ish basses. The plan was to basically recreate my 1968 Fender Precision Bass. It started with picking out a fingerboard. Patrick had this nice, good-sounding Brassilian Rosewood lying around. Comes from 1959 and was chopped well before that time. Alder body, Pat made the mint pick guard, Maple neck with 20 Jescar frets, back of the neck is satin lacquered, Fender aged bridge, Gotoh aged tuners, Fender vintage style bridge, DiMarzio Relentless pickup(developed in collaboration with Billy Sheehan), 250k pots with .022uF for the tone. For the light relic paint job I went to Fine Art in Germany, Dragan is the best! I Chose a red variant, this color is somewhere between Candy, Dakota and Ferrari red. Bass regards from Edwin
