The build features a beautiful Koa top with a Walnut body and Mahogany tone block. The build’s wood components almost refine the overall sound down to a science. The Walnut gives the body a focused yet warm-punch aspect while allowing the Mahogany to exude a rich mid-range growl quality. Adding to it, an Ebony fingerboard alternatively adds articulation and bell-like qualities to note-dynamic. The bass is equipped with a single Fodera/Duncan Dual Coil pickup and a passive yet minimalistic knob selection.
Esthetically, the gorgeous caramel Koa top adds a natural and pronouced feature and is counterbalanced with a matching peg head veneer, Abalone butterfly and well spec’d black hardware. Upon first view, it seems to almost point the eye where to look. A rarity with this build is the beautiful figure that also graces the back of the instrument. The Mahogany tone block framed with Walnut wings adds a unique swirling effect that when not in plain view, is held almost as a special secret to the instrument’s owner. This bass is in mint condition and comes in its original Fodera teardrop case with all candy.
